✧ Crimson Cryptid reserves the right to decline or cancel and refund a commission for any reason.✧ Clients who request a commission containing adult content must be able to prove that they are at least 18 years of age. Individuals found to be under 18 that are requesting this content will be blacklisted.✧ If a client is found to be engaging in hateful, illegal or discriminatory behavior or supporting groups that participate in such behaviors, the client will be refunded and blacklisted.

✧ I take payments through PayPal or Ko-fi, which has its own commission system. If you choose PayPal, I will send you an invoice. All payments will be processed in $USD - you are responsible for knowing the conversion rates!✧ Full payment is required upfront unless alternate options are discussed and agreed upon.✧ If a cancellation is requested before work begins, a full refund will be issued. A partial refund will be issued if the client requests a cancellation after a sketch has been completed. Refunds will not be issued after the client has approved the sketch for further work.✧ If extenuating circumstances are preventing me from completing a commission, a full refund may be issued to the commissioner.

Artistic Process

✧ By commissioning Crimson Cryptid, you agree to a certain level of artistic liberty. You must notify the artist if you have a specific style in mind for your piece, which must be similar to work the artist has done previously.✧ If the client is contacted by Crimson Cryptid after being in queue for a commission, they have 24 hours to respond or they may be removed from the queue.✧ If a client fails to respond to messages regarding commission progress, work will cease on the commission until the client responds.✧ Client must provide a clear reference image for any character artwork. Colors and design elements may not always be strictly adhered to.✧ Thumbnail sketches and a rough sketch will be provided to the client for approval. Requests for changes to the overall drawing must be at this stage, before line work or coloring begins.✧ Large edits, sketch redraws or edits post-sketch stage will be subject to an additional fee. No changes will be made to the artwork after it has been completed and approved by the client.✧ Client must not repost or redistribute WIP images.✧ When the artwork is complete, it will be uploaded to a file-sharing website and the client will be provided a link to download the high-quality files.

✧ By commissioning Crimson Cryptid, you agree to not reproduce or adapt Crimson Cryptid's artwork for sale or profit, as this falls under Commercial Use. Commissioning me indicates that you understand that images drawn for you do not grant you the commercial rights or copyright to those images.✧ If the client intends to use Crimson Cryptid's commissioned artwork for any commercial purpose, they must disclose this upfront. A separate contract must be created and there will be additional fees. I reserve the right to decline such requests.✧ Crimson Cryptid retains the right to use commission work for reference, portfolio use, advertising, or hosting on web sites.✧ The client may use commissioned work they have purchased from Crimson Cryptid for personal use. Personal use includes but is not limited to: printing for home display, creating character badges for personal use, or using completed commission work as an icon on social media.

✧ Client may repost completed commission artwork if full and proper credit is given. Attribution must include a link to Crimson Cryptid's profile on the website the image is being reposted to or a link to my posting of the image on another website. If you use my artwork as an icon on social media, please include my social media handle somewhere in your biography section.✧ Reposting images of Crimson Cryptid's personal artwork or of characters that are not your own is prohibited without the explicit permission of Crimson Cryptid and/or the owner of the character depicted.✧ Use of Crimson Cryptid's artwork for non fungible tokens (NFTs) is strictly prohibited. You may not under any circumstances advertise for, mint, own, or sell NFTs containing or making use of Crimson Cryptid's artwork.✧ Thank you for reading the entire TOS. To signify that you have done so, please state "I acknowledge the TOS" somewhere in your memo when you submit commission payment.
